About Booking Recovery Automation (abandoned cart emails)

A recovery flow that captures the search state of any visitor who reached the Profitroom booking widget, entered an email address, but did not complete the reservation. A three-message sequence at H+1, H+24 and D+3 nudges the guest back with the exact search they abandoned — dates, occupancy, room type, quoted rate — deep-linked into the widget so they land one click from checkout. Rates are re-quoted live at click time against the Profitroom API to avoid stale pricing. All emails are sent from your own domain via configured SPF/DKIM/DMARC and use your Profitroom-branded template layout. Guests who opt out are respected group-wide and never re-emailed. Typical properties recover 6–14% of dropped sessions. Requires an active Profitroom account with API access enabled and a verified sending domain.
